It\u2019s easy to say wood! As we said in our previous article<\/em>, all of our wooden handles differ depending on the intended use. Therefore, they require different processes but also wood types from different trees. Here are the types of wood we use in our production:<\/p>\n Ash wood is one of the wood types we use in our production and is excellent for its flexibility, resistance and malleability, which makes it particularly comfortable to work with. Beech wood is found in much higher quantities than ash wood, it also has a higher yield because it has fewer knots. Linden wood is an excellent base material to work with, because it is stable and even in colour (a plus from an aesthetic point of view) and does not have twists: this means that it is a more stable wood Poplar wood is easy to find and is extremely light: this makes it suitable for construction tools with an aluminum alloy or plastic end part, and so requiring less resistance. Our experience leads us to use and evaluate only wood that grows from trees planted in areas with little wind, on flat and water-rich soils: this is the only way we can be sure that the wood of our handles has no defects.<\/p>\n With the utmost respect for the environment and for company policy, we use FSC\u00ae certified wood in the production of our products. Forest Stewardship Council – FSC\u00ae certification<\/strong> is synonymous with responsible forest management and guarantees correct and efficient wood management, through rotary cuts and a correct forest-production chain. <\/p>\n
\nAt Foppoli Bramin, we produce wooden handles<\/strong> for many different fields and industries, including agriculture and construction, but for our production we do not just use any type of wood: neither by origin nor by type of tree.<\/p>\n

\nFurthermore, and this is not a secondary aspect, it is a wood that is rather easy to find: ours comes from the forests of Germany, Switzerland, Belgium and Northern Italy.<\/p>\nBeech wood<\/h3>\n
\nIt is very important that wooden handles are produced with knot-free raw material, because the flexibility and strength of the handle and the tool are affected.
\nMechanically less flexible than ash, it also has a more affordable cost.<\/p>\nLinden wood<\/h3>\n
\nHowever, it is less resistant than beech and ash wood and is therefore more suitable for the manufacture of wooden handles for tools<\/strong> used for dragging like brooms or rakes.<\/p>\nPoplar wood<\/h3>\n
\nPoplar wood is therefore used for wooden handles<\/strong> for hobby, construction and light tools.<\/p>\nCertificates<\/h3>\n
\nAttention to the environment, together with the optimization of the production cycle, has allowed us to obtain recognition from the Lombardy Region as a leader in \u201cArtisan excellence\u201d.
