Here at Foppoli Bramin, we have always made sure that our products speak for us.
Quality, durability and Made in Italy design are concepts that must be conveyed first with facts and then later with words.
After over a century of experience in the production of wooden handles for tools and utensils, the time has come for us to tell what we do also through words. This is why we have opened a new section of our website dedicated to news, insights, the story behind Foppoli Bramin’s new work and challenges.
Today we present our blog, a series of stories created to convey one of our main characteristics: our passion for what we do.
Yes, because while the quality is clearly visible in our products (such as in the wooden handles for hoes and spades), there are many other less visible aspects of our work that deserve to be told. For example:
- Attention to the environment – Producing wooden handles means making use of the earth’s arboreal heritage. This is why we operate with awareness using ecological paints and FSC certified wood from responsibly managed forests. Furthermore, again with this in mind, we reduce processing waste to a minimum and also avoid wasting energy.
- Punctuality in deliveries – We like to be clear right away and ensure delivery times are met without any surprises. In order to do this, we have developed an effective supply and shipping system: trust is an important factor for us and we want to ensure that our customers and clients do not to have to wait longer than agreed for an order.
- Passion in the management of human relationships – The intermediary aspect with customers is certainly the product, however we do not neglect the importance of the relationship with those who have decided to rely on us for the purchase of wooden handles. In order to meet different needs, our sales office speaks several languages and is available for customizations and needs of all kinds. Because every customer is unique and special.

We are Foppoli Bramin. We have been producing and supplying wooden handles since 1890 for tools and utensils. Our products are Made in Italy and are known and purchased all over the world, especially in Northern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, particularly in Italy, Germany, France, Algeria, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Morocco.
Our tool handles are suitable for the care of gardens, for public and private construction sites, such as handles for hardware tools, for products marketed in large-scale distribution, in territorial maintenance companies as well as in the forestry sector.
We are a company founded on a passion and a family trade in our land of origin: Valtellina. This is a part of Italy where woodworking has always been a tradition. The Legnamèr, or woodworker, is the person from which our profession derives and from which we still draw inspiration today in order to give our products the same craftsmanship quality of the past, with the help of the most modern technologies in the industry.
For our product lines, such as wooden handles for shovels and axes, we use beech, ash, poplar and linden wood types.
